Philosophy

When I started to play around with web technologies at the age of 14, it was pure fascination. A few months later, I started to earn enough money to finance my expensive but needed IT books.

Parallel to school, I started to work for a conference service provider to deepen my technical IT knowledge (Hardware, Networks, Windows Server Operating System, Web Server ...).

A couple of years have passed. I still work for the mentioned company, passed a good year in Paris and will acquire my Master of Science degree in March 2011.

If you want to know more, feel free to take a look at my skills and references.

Honesty

Who has not had the experience of underestimating time and effort?
People often overlook that neither the customer nor the bidder are happy with the process or the result. In most cases, the reason is time pressure.

I do not succumb to pressure and will try to only make realistic estimates.

Fairness

In my understanding, a mutual, professional commitment will lead to great mutual benefit. In a professional relationship like this, I am doing everthing in my power to deliver results that will lead to the greatest benefit for the employer.

Thoroughness

At work and in my studies I did not focus singularly on applied IT technologies, but especially on broader subject knowledgee; this helped me to gain a global understanding of IT. How can a unilaterally qualified IT person offer you the best solution? He simply cannot.

Learning

Continuous learning is the key to continuous success in nearly every industry. In IT, continuous is indispensable; everybody agrees on that ... independent from whether this reflects their own actions or not. I regularly spend a lot of time reading computer magazines, books and newspapers. In addition I go to conferences and join seminars.
